Fingerprints

Aim: To look at the different types of fingerprints.

Materials: 

  1. fingers   
  2. ink pad
  3. balloon

Steps
  1. Roll your finger on the ink pad.
  2. Put your finger gently on the balloon.
  3.    Blow up the balloon.
  4.   Find out what fingerprints you have.

Lifting fingerprints

Aim: To learn how to lift hidden fingerprints from an object.

1. Lifting and Gathering fingerprints.

Equipment:
  1.   baby powder
  2.   clear plastic or glad wrap
  3.   makeup brush 
  4.   tape
  5.   black paper
Method: 
  1. Put your finger on the plastic or glad wrap.
  2. Lightly dip the makeup brush in the baby powder.
  3. brush the plastic or glad wrap until you see the fingerprint.
